The wind of the ways of the world, the Amish with stubborn
conviction and perseverance still live their lives as they have done for hundreds of
years. There is a certain feeling of our own heritage as we look upon these
fascinating people portraying in many ways what life in colonial America might have been
like. Shown here on a blustery November day is an Amish open wagon stacked high with
a variety of household items that were shipped by train to Ogdensburg rail depot during
the mid 1970's. Reproduced from a watercolor painting.
