Stars twinkling in an airbrushed sky, shortest days and longest nights in the hustle of the season, a peace descents on the land as the abbreviated days drift silently into long enchanting evenings filled with anticipation.  The starkness of the dark architectural shapes across the landscape are punctuated by a warm inner glow that spills out through the windows and invites the viewer to participate.  This house is located on the Black Lake road near Hammond NY.  The original is painted in acrylic on hardboard.
