With every click of my "year-o-meter", I wonder even
more why people ever came this far North! I have an artist friend who suggested it is
because trees are easier to draw without leaves on them. I can't help but still be drawn
to the stark beauty of that season. And even in the middle of the coldest and dreariest of
times, there are those days when the sun's low angle bathes the landscape in a warm,
pastel glow.
This small house shows a touch of European influence in it's
architectural design. Along Route 16 going towards Ottawa, Ontario.
