A traveler from cradle to grave through the dim night of this immortal day” – Shelly
Standing on the north bank of the St. Lawrence River, on a February afternoon, watching the sun sink slowly over the Thousand Islands there is an aura of melancholy silence that permeates the air like a distant childhood memory.
In a fading twilight, the stark silhouette of Boldt Castle is contrasted against the graduated night sky, and is slowly illuminated like the embers of a nearly dead fire fed by the winds of time.
