This ancient cedar sits on the rocky bank of an Adirondack stream while the muted soft greens of the forest canopy filters onto the foliage, rocks and water. There is an unseen presence in nature that can’t help but create a humbleness in the aware observer. It is this supreme mystery that draws me back time after time and compels me to pay homage through artistic expression.
Reproduced from a watercolor painting on hot press board of Deer River- off route 11B about 15 miles from Malone.
