What is it about gardens that
draw artists to them like bears to honey? I think it must be the
colors and variety of textures and shapes, it's not often that an artist can
use so many bright colors together and not make it look pretentious.
Monet's favorite place to paint was his garden at Giverny, where he spent
the last days at his easel.. Anyway it's a visual treat that not too many
artists can pass up including this one. This garden is at the
Remington Art Museum in Ogdensburg, NY.
