In the twilight of a quiet summer's eve, the Canadian Laker, the Tadoussac, passes under the span of the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge. As the soft blue-gray and pastel coral hues of the setting sun dance on the glistening waters of the mighty St. Lawrence River. The bridge and the seaway were both completed and began operation in 1960. The bridge replaced the car ferry, which had been in operation since the early 1900's.

This original watercolor painting was commissioned by the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority, and was donated to the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce to be used as a fundraiser.
