The Amish are a common sight around the Ogdensburg area.   Thirty-five families of old order Amish moved up from the Ohio Valley 20 years ago and have settled into many of the smaller farms near the Heuvelton, NY ( 7 miles from Ogdensburg).  In this warm winter watercolor landscape painting, a lone buggy, at a distance , is seen passing by a farm from across a wide expanse of a field of snow.

Edition sold out in December 1989.
