Not too far from my house is a small pond.  On a crisp winter day, you don't have to go far to find natural beauty as shown here in this watercolor painting of a snow capped willow log along the sunlit bank of a frozen pond.   Many people are often surprised when they learn that this landscape is located only a few hundred feet from the city limits.
