The stark simplicity of winter can be
inspirational and breath taking, in more ways than one. Snow, by it's
neutral nature, blends harmony and unification to the naked landscape. Like
the harmony of certain piano notes when played together, nature creates
music for the eyes with form, texture and shadow.
I will share with you these words on
winter by an author that has winter in his blood, William Winter (1836-1917)
from the Golden Silence:
"Though all the bards of earth were
dead, And all their music passed away, What nature wishes should be said,
She'll find the rightful voice to say."
