This pencil drawing is the first in a series of three that were done in the late seventies. This one portrays the Arch of Honor that was modeled after the Arch of Triumph in Paris, France. This sits at the entrance of a small cove on Heart Island that was designed to be used as an entrance way for small boats bringing guests to Boldt Castle. In the background is the smaller of the two boathouses on Wellesely that were owned by George Boldt. This boathouse is now gone, and only the larger one, which has been restored, remains.
